Awesome movie!! I greatly enjoyed this one! I think that every movie Jason Statham plays in is just awesome anyways. He is a great actor and not bad to look at either! I didn't know the full plot line going into this movie, so after seeing it I was very impressed that it didn't suck. I was about this guy who was framed of the murder of his wife. The people who framed him are from none other than the prison he was sent to. They wanted him to race in what they call Death Race. It reminds me of a mix between Arctic Thunder and Twisted Metal. It pretty cool, and if there is not a game out yet, there should be. :) Anywho. There was great comedic relieve and great action. Everything looked very realistic. If I didn't know any better, this could really be happening somewhere... I thought instantly when I saw the prison was on an island in the ocean I instantly though "cleaver!" Hard for someone to escape that way! I don't think I really have anything bad to say about this. Its definitely a keeper in my book!

The Big Easy

I thought this movie was mediocre. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. I understand that its an 80's movie, so I won't mock the cheesy quality and action scenes. The Louisiana accents were horrible!! They sometimes had it, then would slip every once in a while. Besides the accents, I would have to say the only other issue I had was the plot. I followed it easy. It was about a detective getting caught up in a bunch of murders of mob scene people. He meets an attorney who he ends up liking and what not... I just didn't find and even balance between his love life and his job. A crime would happen, they would investigate together, then they would be doing some lovey dovey thing two minutes later like the crime means nothing. I also didn't get the fact that she was so pissed off at him for being a "bad" cop and not following the rules, but ends up forgiving him on the drop of a hat. There was no real big fight or anything, just mad glares in a court room...
I must say though, the best part of the film has to be the gorgeous body Dennis Quaid lets us see!! So over all, its an ok movie, but not one I would like to own or watch over and over....

Mirrors is my first film review. I was expecting it to be awesomely spooky. Of course to my dismay it was greatly disappointing. The plot line jumped around, managing to confuse the hell out of me. There was really only one point in the whole movie that gave me that creepy feeling I was looking forward to. It is such a shame that Kiefer Sutherland would play in such a crappy movie! Thats really all I have to say about this movie, I don't need to waste my precious time...
